I believe the greatest insight and experience in caring for children is mostly achieved by being a parent. I am a mother to two wonderful boys, ages 10 and 7. I have always had a caring, nurturing personality since I was a child myself "raising" my baby dolls. As the youngest of three sisters, I was babysitting my niece and nephews from adolescence. I would also babysit for friends and family members throughout high-school and while in college. After getting married and having my children, I babysat sporadically while staying home with them in their early years.
