About Rachel
Caregiving has always come naturally to me whether it was babysitting my nephews or helping take care of my ailing grandfather. My greatest joy was getting to be a stay-at-home mom for my son and daughter for 20 wonderful years. When the kids were in school I did residential cleaning for 10+ which was very rewarding. Since 2021 I have been helping my husband with a family owned business but I feel like it is time to explore some different caregiving opportunities outside of my immediate family. My mom was a hospice chaplain for many years and is currently the chaplain at a nursing home/assisted living facility which has given me some unique volunteering opportunities like singing for the patients at special chapel services.
