About Rachel

I've worked in the social work field for over a decade, and before that spent years caring for children, pets, and homes in settings including daycares, nanny agencies, churches, and schools. I worked as a nanny, paraprofessional, daycare provider, and house and pet sitter, leading to trusted word-of-mouth referrals I continue to value. As a social worker, I've supported people across the lifespan as a child and adolescent therapist and in hospice, home health, and hospital settings. From labor and delivery to geriatrics, I've learned to be attentive, adaptable, and responsive to each person's unique needs. I understand the trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and care for your loved ones-both human and furry. I'm currently taking a sabbatical from hospital-based work and spending time in The Villages, Florida. I'm available for flexible, part-time opportunities and am happy to provide references.
