About Rachel

Hi! My name is Rachel, I'm 19 years old and from Appleton. I'm the oldest sibling of 3 so I have been taking care of/babysitting them (along with cousins) for as long as I can remember. I've strive to be a compassionate listener and am always willing to learn. Working with children is my passion, as I hope to be a teacher someday. I'm hoping this experience can really open me up to the world of childcare. I love to be playful and goofy but I always understand when the proper time to be serious is. I love to tidy up, clean, and organize in my free time. I worked in a 1st grade classroom for a semester and have gained a lot of knowledge and awareness of how children act and what measures some may need. Almost the entire class grew comfortable with me almost right away and I was always a friendly, happy face to them. Thank you for taking your time for me :)
