I have recently finished nursing school where I got my Bachelors Degree in Nursing. During this time, I had many clinical rotations working with the elderly, at nursing homes and in the acute care setting. Prior to nursing school, I was my grandfathers caregiver for 2 years and during this time I assisted him with activities of daily living, transported him to doctors appointments and on other errands such as grocery shopping, we would go on walks for exercise, I cooked for him, made sure he took his medications at the scheduled times, did laundry, and light house cleaning. Since completing nursing school, I have also gained experience in blood glucose monitoring, and many other medical interventions.
