I have experience caring for one child at a time. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and always prioritize open communication with parents, adapting to their preferred method. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation. I am TrustLine certified, CPR trained, and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. Right from the start, it was clear that Rachel is a Natural and knows exactly what to do. My son immediately liked and appreciated her. She is very easy to communicate with, for both children and adult adults. She always comes up with fun things to do, and outings to take my son on, then he was always very happy from their adventures. Her overall mood and way of being is very upbeat and calm and very real. Rachel also shows a lot of compassion and care, and truly sees children for the valuable young humans they are. She is wonderful to deal with— prompt, clear communication, and understanding. Rachel connected with each child, made each day fun for them while transporting from school to home. She's prompt, punctual, loving and kind with each child. I will continue to utilize her excellent services/nanny care that goes above and beyond. The twins love her!

Rachel has supported our childcare needs over the past year. She has been reliable, communicative, and professional. My son is 13 but I would not hesitate to have her watch younger kiddos.  

Rachel is a highly qualified, kind and experienced nanny. She's been with us for 3 years, caring for my 3 year old and 20 month old. Rachel is a positive, fun and active nanny that truly enjoys being outdoors with children as much as possible and finding adventures wherever she is. She's super helpful with navigating emotional and behavioral development. She is wonderful with babies as she cared for both my kids since they were infants, and is also so amazing with older children and we all love having her in our lives! Our kids have an amazing bond with her. She goes above and beyond to care for our children and make a happy home for all of us. In the three years she's been with our family she has almost never been a minute late to work. She's been beyond flexible and accommodating - especially during the pandemic. We'd be lost without her! We thought she'd be with us for years to come, but couldn't be more excited for her new life adventures in OR.

Rachel was more than a nanny, she was a part of our family. She cared for our 4month old for over a year and we were crushed to say goodbye. She has a natural gift caring for young ones and anyone would be lucky to have her. O. is now 3 years old and still talks about Rachel!

Rachel was the best thing that happened to me as a first time mom... she became part of our family and went above and beyond in the care of my children.... on the day my second child was born she joined my parents and my husband and was one of the first people to hold our second son.  It was because of work that we moved away from the Bay Area, but we still keep in touch.  She's made sure both of my kids started off with love and plenty of giggles and I'm thankful for the time we had together!  

Rachel sees childcare as a calling and her engagement with the kids she cares for is a testament to that. She takes them to parks, classes, museums, and play dates. She reads to, sings to, and cooks for them. She cares deeply about their development and well-being. 

Rachel stepped in last-minute for a job and really saved our bacon. But more importantly, our 21 month old daughter warmed up to her almost immediately and had a great time with her. Rachel took our daughter all around town to various museums and events, and sent photos, video and updates throughout the day. I would hire her again without hesitation and would recommend her to anyone!

My daughter D. has been in Rachel's care since she was 3 months old (she is now approaching 21 months). D. literally runs to the door when Rachel arrives and doesn't blink an eye when I leave her to go to work. That says a lot already. 

Rachel has been instrumental in helping us raise a sweet, loving, smart, happy, and outgoing toddler who is comfortable almost anywhere (even the bus!). She was key in helping us manage first-time parent activities that we were clueless about, such as transitioning to a bottle, sleeping in the crib, and sleep training on a schedule. 

I wanted D. to be an active child (not a TV watcher) and Rachel has ensured that the kids (we do a nanny share) spend a lot of time at the park, zoo, museums, or play classes. We decided to start daycare by age 2, but if we didn't get into our first choice program, we would have stayed on with Rachel. I'm dreading the end of our nanny share but our loss is someone's gain!

Rachel started with us when our oldest was 4 months old and has been our nanny for the past 2.5 years. Our oldest is now almost 3 and our youngest is almost 18 months. She has been such a charismatic light that brings laughter and love into their lives. A sad face or tantrum can always be quickly turned into a smile.

Her style of nannying is kind and caring, yet firm and honest. She won?t let them take advantage of a situation or get away with anything, but also is up for crazy, impromptu dance parties.

For daily activities, they?re out and about every day, rain or shine. My kids have been to more places in this city than I have at this point. At home, she knows how to keep them busy in a no-screen time environment. Crafts, books, playtime, etc. She?s great at age appropriate activities and helping their development. 

Over the past couple of years, she has helped us bring out their personalities as well as raise compassionate, well-rounded children. 

Rachel is a gem. She treats kids as her own. She goes out of her way to make them smile and happy. She was my two year old's very first babysitter at 3 months and we love to have her sit for us and be part of her life.
Rachel is a rare find for any parent. Nannying is truly her life's work. This is not something she fell into or is doing for the meantime. This is what she is supposed to do. There is nothing she cannot handle and does it with ease. I'm always shocked by how organized and orderly she is. She cares about kids development, self confidence and brings out joy and their passion. She is dependable, reliable, nurturing and her babies love her. She is incredibly caring and has a methodology to getting kids through tough milestones. 
I cannot say enough great things about her and know she will be a true asset to any family. 


We have loved having Rachel take care of our children. She is fun, loving, yet firm when needed. She has done crafts with the children for Mother's Day and Father's Day and other fun activities. She loves to get out with the children and take them to parks, the beach, museums, etc. We have never worried about their care when Rachel has been out with them. She is aware and on constant watch to keep the children safe at all times. She has always kept the children clean and dressed appropriately for weather. We highly recommend her and she has a very fun personality and loves to laugh and make others laugh as well.
