About Rachel

For nearly two decades, I've dedicated my life to nurturing young minds in various settings including public and private schools, homeschooling, nannying and respite care. My passion lies in fostering a lifelong love of learning. I hold a college degree in child development from Santa Ana College (California). I am also a Certified Teacher. I maintain current First Aid Training and CPR certification and am well-versed in conscious discipline. Parents appreciate my patient, calm, and supportive personality. I prioritize open communication, always adhering to your preferred method. I enjoy the outdoors and promote activities that get children out in the community. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages and abilities and am happy to assist with cooking, running errands, housekeeping and child transport. Speaking both English and Spanish allows me to connect with a wider range of children and families. I am also able to use sign language at a moderately proficient level.
