About Rachel

Hey there! I'm Rachel, I'm 27-years old and work as a full-time journalist at the Kansas City Star. I graduated from NWMSU in 2021 and have been working professionally ever since! I love kids and want some of my own one day but while I consider that option, I'm looking for either a part-time evening/weekends nannying job or consistent babysitting job. I have multiple years of experience caring for babies, toddlers and kids 6+ through babysitting gigs in high school in college. I also volunteered for more than 5 years in my church's nursery, caring for 0-12-month-olds and 1-3-year-olds during church service and for longer periods of time during all-day care events. I'm all about open and collaborative communication when it comes to caring for your children. I come from a big family and am comfortable in high-stress scenarios and I love caring for my nieces and nephews. I was a lifeguard for 5 years and have CPR training.
