Certified pre-school teacher available for a FT nanny position; MOVING TO PDX IN JUNE! During my time as a nanny I have worked extensively with neuro divergent children, working closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) specialists. I also have experience in RDI (Relationship Development Intervention) therapies and have 60+ hours of certified training in RBT (Rational Behavioral Therapy). I spent the last several months working at a play-based, Montessori/Reggio style pre-school. I am certified in CPR & First Aid, Food Handlers, Abuse Recognition & Reporting & Introduction to Early Childcare (ages 0-5). I have a federal and state background check & fingerprints and am certified/registered on ORO (meaning I complete 20+ hrs. of early education training each year). And while all of this, I'm sure, sounds very intense, I am not! I full heartedly believe in the importance of play and mess and make-believe!!
