About Rachael
Experience: 5 yrs
Rachael provides professional, mobile pet care and dog training for owners in the Urbana area. Services include obedience training (such as reliable recall, basic manners, and improved body language communication), in-home pet sitting, bathing, nail trim/grinding, grooming, and dog walking. Care is also available for other animals, including horses, birds, rodents and aquariums, with attentive support that exceeds standard expectations. She holds a Pet CPR and First Aid certification and is known for her ability to easily administer pills to picky pets. She specializes in working with high-drive and high-energy dogs, and dogs with reactivity and behavioral issues.
Most recent review
Very knowledgeable and clear on communication. Theres a shocking amount of trainers out there that rely on showmanship and negative/punishment reinforcement which only gives short term gains and hurts the dogs psyche. Rachael displays a firm understanding of canine and human psychology and how to get owners understanding their pets, and their pets to thrive while behaving in a desirable manner.
