About Rachael

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, patient, observant and fun I've always connected naturally with kids--I love their natural curiosity, and the way they see the world. I'm open to opportunities where I can provide dependable and attentive care as needed. My goal is to make things easier for parents while ensuring the kids feel safe, engaged, and well cared for. I've been around children my entire life! Growing up, my mother had a home daycare. As a teen, I babysat the neighborhood. I started teaching in 2007, and I became a mom in 2011. I'm always just naturally drawn to children. They bring me joy and keep me young at heart! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my son, nieces, and nephew. For myself, I enjoy watching documentaries, and sometimes arts and crafts. With my son, we enjoy bike riding, swimming, and going to the movies. This list is not exhaustive, I'm versatile in my spare time. I can be in the go or a couch potato.
