I'd like families to know that I am very kind patient and approachable person who genuinely enjoys working with students. I focus on creating a comfortable low pressure environment where they feel safe asking questions and not afraid to make mistakes. I believe that learning should feel encouraging rather than stressful so I try to keep sessions positive and even a little fun while still staying focused and productive. Also pay close attention to how each student learns best because I know everyone is different. I take the time to adjust my approach so things actually make sense to them instead of just repeating information. Along with helping improve understanding in the subject, I care a lot about building confidence and helping students for more independent overtime overall, someone who is reliable easy to communicate with, and truly invested in helping each student feel comfortable, supported and successful In my spare time I like reading, going to the gym, and being outside!
