About Quatece

On care.com, Quatece had agreed to her starting rate and I specifically asked her is she was good with $18/hour and she said yes. We met in person on 8/31 and I asked her verbally if $18/hour was still good for her and she said "yes." On 9/1, she's supposed to arrive at 1pm, but arrives after 2pm, said her car was leaking oil and needed to get it fixed. She also had a different phone number because she'd lost her phone. She then presents us with an agreement showing $25/hour. This surprised and disappointed us. We then negotiated $20. About 3.5 hours into her first day, I hear her ask my father to drive his drunk home. He was stunned and didn't respond. I then observed before she left, putting her car key on the table, assuming she would drive his drunk home. I intervened, saying that's not a good idea and my father agreed. She left almost 4 hours in. We decided we would not work with her any more. The next day, I told her this. I asked her how many hours we should pay her, she said five. I asked from what time to what time, she said 2-6pm. I said that's four hours, she agreed. I told her we'd mail it to the address she gave on the application. She then sends me a different address. We mailed her the check. She then starts calling and texting us periodically asked us to pay her for three months according to some contract that we did not sign. She's called my father also. She's been unreliable, inappropriate and untrustworthy.
