Becoming a caregiver stemmed from my deep desire to help seniors that I used to see out in the public struggling to cross the road or get something out their bag or if they made a mess and they'd laugh or embarrassment and apologize and I'd tell them no don't be I just always ran to be their help I couldn't help it I've always just loved to be a help to the elderly so now I want to do it full time I have one year of experience.. I am patient, calm, compassionate, empathetic, professional, and detail-oriented. I provide live-in home care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I communicate with families through written daily reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. Creating a comfortable environment is important when building a connection with your loved one. I also have experience de-escalating stressful situations and redirecting attention when needed. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I hope to bring my skills and caring nature
