About Purvi

Hi, my name is Purvi and I'm 24 years old! I studied film in college, but I've always loved working with children since I started as a lifeguard and swim instructor 9 years ago. I've worked with ages 0-12, and have 2 years of experience as a preschool teacher. I strive to create a safe, routine-focused, and creative space for your child to learn and grow. I'm in Columbia for the summer, and I'm looking for a part-time position anywhere from 10-25 hours a week. My rates start at $18/hour for one child. I am CPR and First Aid certified, with 8 years of experience as a lifeguard. I have taken multiple online childcare courses. I have my own car, and am happy to prepare meals. I enjoy coming up with fun and creative activities that foster learning and development. I am firm but kind and patient, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time, I love to read and play sports with my friends. I also love to cook and bake! I look forward to meeting you.
