About Puja

I've volunteered to tutor kids in Pre-K through 7th grade in various subjects through an online non-profit called JuniorCoach, whether it was helping them with their homework from school or reading their favorite book with them. Through that same non-profit, I came together with a group of friends to teach a Creative/Analytic Writing course for 4th- to 6th-graders online with a group of friends. Another experience I had working with children was being a Camp Counselor for my town's community education program. I supervised over 25 kids at a time, ranging from ages 4-13, during a 7-week outdoor and indoor camp. I created different games with the equipment provided so that they would be entertained at all times, wrote daily reports and evaluations, and maintained back-office administration. For safety, I achieved certifications in CPR and First Aid, and followed COVID protocols like cleaning cabins and making sure campers had their mask on.
