About Prune

Caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a large family with four sisters, and I'm a proud aunt to my niece and nephew. One of my best friends also has a child, so I have truly been surrounded by kids my whole life. I started paid childcare work at 16 and now have around nine years of experience with children from infants to pre-teens. I am currently an au pair in the Bay Area, giving me lots of hands-on experience with everyday family routines. I am patient, reliable, responsible, active, and creative. I love being outdoors, playing sports, doing crafts, reading, playing games, and finding activities that match each child's interests. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children and can also help with meals, carpooling, laundry, tidying, and light housekeeping. I am a confident swimmer and hold First Aid and CPR certifications. Most importantly, I want children to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely happy while in my care.
