About Priya

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, creative, and nurturing. I'm lucky to have so many nieces and nephews and it's been magical to watch them grow up, so I've always loved working with children. As an aunt and a training therapist, I know what a huge difference it can make for a child to have supportive and attuned caregivers, and I always aim to be a calm, patient, and fun presence around children! I think it's important to build a trusting relationship with the children and parents. I would love to work with a family who values creativity and joy i. e baking, crafting, and spending time outdoors! I started working with kids when I was 16! I used to work at a daycare and babysit all throughout high school and college. I've worked in schools as a social worker, and I nannied in graduate school. In my spare time, I love to stay active! I've been taking dance lessons for a few years, and I am completing a yoga teacher training.
