About Priscilla

Hi! My name is Priscilla, and I am a recent Biology graduate student with a passion for education, mentorship, and helping students build confidence in learning. I currently work with children ranging from infants to 12 years old through daycare work, nannying, and children's ministry programs, and I also have experience as a university teaching assistant and independent elementary school tutor. I enjoy creating a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace. I especially love helping younger students strengthen their reading, writing, comprehension, and foundational academic skills through interactive and engaging learning activities. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students academically, but also to help them feel more confident, curious, and excited about learning. I strive to make sessions supportive, fun, and personalized to each child's needs and learning style.
