Good day. My name is Priscilla. I have been a nanny for more than 15 years. I have worked for a great family in Pleasantville for 11 1/2 years. The boys were six months and 6 years old when I started it. Their needs have changed and I'm still very close with the family. I recently have been working with another great family for the past year and a half in Cold Springs starting when the baby was 6 months old. Unfortunately, the Mom's business will be closing, and she will be staying home with her son. I know children and can recognize their needs. I'm a retired Police Officer. Priscilla is a true professional. We are so grateful for her care, her sense of humor and play, her dependability and responsibility, and her nurturing and gentle approach to tending to our son's needs. She approached difficult situations and 2-year-old behavioral challenges with grace and patience. We never once heard her raise her voice and had a good-natured way of guiding and instructing him. She was respectful of our wishes as parents, and spend countless hours reading books and taking him to the library and the park. She met the kids in his school, got to know the teachers and parents, and communicated issues or concerns to us promptly and clearly. She is well-informed about early childhood development, both from her experience as a mother and a long history of childcare. We were impressed by the games and activities she engagement him to foster language development, motors skills, and creativity. We recommend her highly.
