I'm retired & have been doing home care with seniors for a couple years. I've got a lot of patience & I think it's helpful. I like caring for seniors - These are our parents & grandparents the people who cared for us before we were capable. I think caring for seniors with dignity & respect is a way of giving back. I'm looking for a job that - is part time 20-30 hours a week. Preferably in the Harrisburg/Hershey surrounding area. I'm a Companion, I care for people who can do for themselves but need assistance. Medication reminders, I do meals, light housekeeping & wash. Basically I work with people who can't be left alone. Seems most clients I've had were in some stage of dementia. Some need more help than others so I go with the flow, get things done & maybe even get outside a bite
