I am a compassionate and dependable caregiver with experience caring for elderly individuals, including seniors living with dementia and retinitis pigmentosa. I understand the importance of patience, kindness, safety, and emotional support when caring for older adults, and I strive to create a calm, respectful, and comforting environment for every client. My experience includes assisting with companionship, daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility support, medication reminders, transportation assistance, and helping clients maintain as much independence and dignity as possible. Through working with individuals with dementia, I have learned how important consistency, reassurance, and gentle communication are in providing quality care. I also have experience assisting individuals with vision impairment caused by retinitis pigmentosa, helping them safely navigate their environment while offering attentive and supportive care.
