About Preston

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher with a college degree, I specialize in English, Science, History, and test preparation for middle and high school students. I believe in fostering a love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion--to suit your unique style. I stay motivated by connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and celebrating every "aha!" moment we achieve together. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure we are always working toward your goals. I am happy to meet at your home, school, or a local coffee shop. I look forward to building a supportive partnership that helps you thrive.
