I interviewed Presley, and she seemed like a great candidate. She gave me 2 referrals and they both had great things to say. I extended a job offer to her, and then she dropped off the map. Won't answer my calls, won't respond to text messages (and yes, I can see that they've been read). I've messaged her both over the phone and on care.com. I put a lot of time and funds into finding a nanny. I find it very unprofessional that she didn't communicate. Even if she didn't want the job, all she had to do was let me know she didn't want it. Now, I've spent all my time interviewing her, and I have to start back at square one with finding care (which I need asap). I recently left a review for a candidate, and I'd like to edit. Could you update for me? Shortly after posting this review, she texted me, explaining that she'd had a family emergency a few hours after I'd extended the offer.
