I have experience supporting children with autism/ADHD, & a wide range of physical/intellectual disabilities. I've worked with children & young adults from 0-20 in both professional & personal settings. I began as a sitter many years ago and have worked at CARD (autism research center), as a full-time nanny to children with special needs, and across three elementary schools (typical & high-need classrooms). I'm proficient with AAC, learning sign language, & have experience supporting verbal/nonverbal individuals with varying support needs (hearing/vision impairments, cerebral palsy/neurological conditions). I am currently working one-on-one with a child who has a rare neurological condition requiring intensive and personalized care with mobility & everyday tasks, as well as in a special education preschool classroom. I'm completing my BAEE/SPED (elementary special education) and OTA certification at GCC. I'm patient, compassionate, hardworking, and comfortable with pets and housework.
