About Precious

Precious was a fantastic addition to our entire family. She took excellent care of my mother for years fallowing her stroke.. my mother suffered from physical limitations and had difficulty with speech. Precious worked with her on a physical level restoring a significant amount of her mobility, kept her in the fight- so to speak- as far as not giving up despite significant neurological deficit. She was instrumental in giving my mother the chance to be a grandmother to her 2 grandsons, to visit us in california and to go on family trips. More then just the physical/ mechanical aspects of her care Precious became one of my mothers closet friends and confidants… They where able to communicate and understand one another across language and cultural both having moved to America from very different parts of the world In different historical times yet they shared an almost magical unique bond. precious was able to make my mother feel comfortable around her friends and rejoin her social life on her terms and not withdraw into her self and find continued meaning in life..
