About Portia

With 15 years of experience, I bring a patient, creative, and calm approach to childcare. My background in child psychology and my time as a camp leader allow me to engage children through educational games, outdoor sports, and imaginative crafts. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and am happy to assist with meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. Because I am skilled in sports and literature , I can engage in physical and educational activities . I maintain open communication with parents through daily reports and regular updates. I hold CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in film production in SoHo. I was born and raised in NYC and attended all girls school on the Upper East Side for 13 years. I'd love to work with a family raising children in Manhattan with similar background.
