About Piper

Hello! I'm Piper, a 20-year-old undergraduate student currently living in Manhattan this summer to visit my mom. I was born and raised in Honolulu, HI, and now attend university in Vancouver. In my free time I enjoy reading, painting, running, going to the beach, and spending quality time with friends. I also love anything to do with music; I've been playing piano for 13 years and have recently picked up the guitar! In terms of my childcare experience, I spent two years as an After School Care Assistant at Punahou School, where I supervised K-5th Graders in activities, recess, arts and crafts, snack time, and was responsible for directing classes of children to and from extracurricular and pick-up areas. I have completed subsequent training and modules under the Hawaii Dept of Child Welfare Services. In addition, I have spent multiple years babysitting for neighbors and other members of the community, as well as helping babysit and take care of my two younger siblings.
