About Pilar
I am a teacher ready to retire in a year. I've been teaching elementary students for 30 years, and while I love it, I'm ready to take my skills to a new level. I love caring for others, making things easier for those who face challenges, and just simply spending time with people who need support of any kind. I have three grown daughters so it's fair to say I've spent my entire adult life taking care of others - and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have no experience professionally caring for seniors, but took care of my mother as she battled cancer, and currently support my dad when he needs an extra hand. I am a quick learner and am willing to do what needs to be done to make any family comfortable with having me care for their loved ones.
