About Pilar

Supporting older adults and helping them maintain their well-being, comfort, and independence is meaningful to me. I am patient, calm, compassionate, attentive, and highly dependable, and I understand the importance of treating every person with dignity and respect. I have two years of paid senior care experience supporting my parents through California's IHSS program. My responsibilities included personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with daily routines. I believe that good care begins with earning trust, understanding each person's preferences and personal history, and creating a comfortable environment. I also value open communication and will keep families informed through their preferred method. I speak English and Spanish and am available to start immediately.
