About Pilar

Pilar served as a caregiver for my father, for the last two years of his life. Throughout this time, Pilar was not just a professional caregiver, she was a truly compassionate and integral part of our family. Pilar is one of the most kind and patient people I have ever met. She went above and beyond her duties, caring for my father with a level of attention and love that was exceptional. She took the time to do small, personal things for him, such as shaving him and cutting his hair, making him feel cared for and dignified. After he had gallbladder surgery, she stayed with him at the hospital for three weeks, providing a constant presence and comfort that was invaluable to both him and our family. In addition to her caregiving responsibilities, she also took on household duties, including cleaning and cooking for all of us. She is one of those people that doesn’t just like sitting around and doing nothing. If she was not cleaning or cooking, she was helping my wife with a project, researching recipe’s for our favorite meals, and even helping care for our cats. She made our lives so much easier during a very difficult time. My father considered her like a daughter, and we all treated her as one of our own. When my father passed away, she grieved with us, and in a way, cried more than I did. Her emotional investment shows just how deeply she cares for those she looks after. Pilar is a rare and truly exceptional person, and any family would be fortunate to have her care for their loved one.
