We were so lucky Pia was available when we needed her. She was not only a great fit for my mother, but she also was able to ease the burden of care that was weighing so heavily on my father. He needed to see the level of care and he needed to trust. Over the past 4 years, Pia earned that trust in spades. She developed a healthy routine for my mother that regularly brought joy into her life even in these late stages of dementia. It was obvious that she brought more than experience and professionalism; she truly cares.
