About Phyllis

Nurturing children's growth has always been a passion of mine, inspired by positive experiences in Teaching roles. I aim to make a positive impact on each child's life. With over 20 years of experience, I provide patient, calm, creative, and friendly care. I am comfortable caring for more than one child at a time. I'm a certified teacher with a college degree in Early Childhood Education. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I communicate with parents through daily notes and pictures, detailing our schedule and fun moments. I ensure that I carry out the parent's wishes. My experience as a teacher helps me to explain rules and routines on a child's level. I love playing learning games indoors and outdoors, especially Science experiments and activities that promote both Gross and Fine Motor skills, Reading, Math, STEM, problem solving and self help skills. I love Nature! Food prep and light housekeeping pertaining to the child is something I am happy to do. Thank you!
