I have a BA in math and over 20 years of experience supporting learners of all ages and abilities, but just as important as my CV are my patience, empathy, and creativity. My approach is simple: if one explanation does not click, I am persistent and will find another way. I am resourceful in identifying supplemental materials and strategies that work for each student's learning style. I believe academic competence and real-world confidence go hand in hand, one building upon the other. I specialize in elementary math (K-6), reading, spelling, and phonics, and while I believe in-person learning is most effective, I am available for remote sessions if needed. It would be my privilege to help your child or you hone study skills, meet goals, and celebrate every step forward.
