About Phylesia
Experience: 3 yrs
Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in English, test preparation, history, and the arts for elementary and middle school students. I believe every learner thrives when provided with personalized support that fosters confidence rather than rote memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, discussions, and hands-on activities. I keep lessons engaging by connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and celebrating every milestone we reach together. Open communication is essential to my process, as I value building a collaborative partnership with both you and your family. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks remains the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you discover your own unique path to success.
