About Phuong

As a Certified Texas Math Teacher, I bring actual classroom expertise directly to your child to eliminate the stress of the Middle School Math STAAR and the high-stakes Algebra 1 End-of-Course (EOC) exams. I don't just help students passively finish their homework; I use a data-driven approach to pinpoint exact learning gaps and turn math anxiety into true test-day confidence. Because I actively teach the Texas curriculum, my lessons are 100% aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards. Your child will never get confused by conflicting methods between their tutor and their classroom teacher. What I offer • STAAR Redesign Mastery: I train students specifically on the online testing platform's new interactive question formats, including Equation Editor, Hot Spots, and Drag-and-Drop items. • Desmos Graphing Calculator Skills: I teach students how to leverage the built-in online Desmos calculator to check their work, solve complex functions, and save valuable time.
