About Phoebe

Hello families! My name is Phoebe , and I am a 33-year-old originally from Seattle, WA, currently residing in San Diego. I absolutely love working with kids and coming from a long lineage of childcare providers. My mom has owned and operated multiple Waldorf-inspired preschools in the Seattle area for over 30 years, and I have worked as both a preschool teacher and school chef at three of them. I have extensive knowledge in early childhood development and child psychology, and I approach childcare from a place of wonder and enchantment. I love doing activities with kids that foster a sense of creative expression and imaginative play, including arts and crafts, cooking, and spending time in nature. I have worked extensively within the childcare space, and even spent a year in Amsterdam working as an Au pair. I have held multiple nanny jobs in Seattle, for a range of ages spanning six months to six years. I attended culinary school and am a competent cook and baker.
