Hi, I'm Phoebe! I'm currently entering my senior year at UC Berkeley, pursuing a dual degree in English and Film; creative writing is one of my passions, and education/childcare is the other! I have an extensive background in childcare and teaching in my hometown of Los Angeles. I've worked as a babysitter and tutor for more than a dozen families, taught at Barefoot Atelier preschool, and worked as a camp counselor at Marlborough Summer School. My seven years of experience with children has ranged from the ages of newborn infants to 13-year-olds, with a focus on preK-first graders. I love reading and storytelling, arts and crafts, and being outdoors, and I prioritize screen-free, imaginative playtime and game-based learning with children! Phoebe is such a bright and caring young woman! She was more than a babysitter to our kids and became a close friend to our entire family! She was incredibly nurturing and kind in even the most difficult circumstances. Our kids loved having her, and had so much fun that they’d ask her not to leave.
