Hello all! My name is Philip and I have been a full-time child care provider for the past 8 years. I was a Cub Scout leader for five years and a children's Sunday School (Primary) teacher for eight years. I love being around children and watching them learn and grow. I like to have fun and play, but I can also be a very firm, fair disciplinarian. I encourage respect and honesty. I love reading, doing arts and crafts, and finding new, fun ways to learn. I had a great experience with Phillip. I engaged right away with my kids. He was patient and attentive to all their stories. The kids have requested I hire him again.

Philip has watched my children on multiple occasions and I cannot say enough good things about him. If you want a sitter/nanny who will not just stick your kids in front of the TV, rather, engage your kids, play with them, read to them, care about them, then hire Philip. He has such a natural talent with children. My kids always talk about how they want to play with Philip and when is Philip coming over. They really adore him and we are so grateful we have had such a trustworthy, kind, nurturing person to be a part of our village.
I should add, if you feel skeptical to call Philip because you feel more comfortable with female caretakers, I felt the same way, but am SO glad that I got past that gender stereotype. He really is one of a kind.

Philip is a terrific nanny. He's been working with us for more than a year and is incredibly dependable, caring, and helpful. He's great with homework help, getting the boys to and from their activities, and keeping them busy at home. I can't say enough about how wonderful he has been to us!

Our kids (12, 11, 10, 4 & 2) look forward to and enjoy spending time with Philip. He shows genuine interest in our kids and their interests, and his good sense of humor combined with his smarts make him fun to be around. They play games, read books, sing songs, and use their imaginations. They have also gotten into play-doh, puzzles, and coloring. He has also watched our littlest ones in the late evening as well and facilitated movie night and our bedtime routine. He has also shown that he is patient, firm, and direct when making requests and managing behavior. We are very fond of him!

I hired Philip to care for my three sons (ages 6, 4, and 1) once a week for 8 hours on a weekly basis.  We also use Philip for all of our other sporadic childcare needs.  My children look forward to seeing him each week.  He is punctual, dependable, responsible, professional, and patient.  He always arrives with a "bag of tricks" filled with age-appropriate books, games, and tutoring materials.  He works with my boys on academics as well as behavior, taking the initiative to create positive reinforcement charts for them.  While at the house, he prepares their meals and assists with light housework.  He is a blessing to our family and highly recommended!

Phillip watches my 3 boys ages 12, 10, and 5.  He adapts easily to changes in the schedule.  When the boys have off from school he does fun activities with them.  He is very responsible and always on time. He is very creative and does crafts with the boys.  He will put prepped dinner in the oven or put dinner together if needed or asked. He communicates well if their is a concern or he has a question.  He works extremely well with my boys who have ADD and ADHD. You will never find Phillip on his phone while watching your kids.   He is very attentive to them.
