About Peter

I'm Peter (he/him pronouns)! If I had to pick 3 things that were personally my most important factors when it comes to caring for children, it would be- 1. Understanding. 2. Compassion. 3. Child psychology. I love to get to know families as people, and that includes the children - it ESPECIALLY includes the children! I always try to see things from the child's perspective. As a Psychology major pursuing a career in adolescent therapies, I know that children are so rarely equipped with the mental capacity let alone the vocabulary to properly understand what they're feeling or communicate it to others, and I think it's my job to bridge that gap while also giving them the opportunity to have safe, positive fun and learn new things. Given current events, I would like to emphasize that I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and I am a caring childcare worker with compassion for all families regardless of identities.
