I'm Peter (he/him)! If I had to pick 3 things that were personally my most important factors when it comes to caring for children, it would be- 1. Safety. 2. Compassion. 3. Engagement. I love to get to know families as people, and that includes the children - it ESPECIALLY includes the children! I always try to see things from the child's perspective. I think it's my job to bridge the gap between myself and children who don't yet know me, and form connections while also giving them the opportunity to have safe, positive fun and learn new things. Given current events, I would like to emphasize that I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and I am a caring childcare worker with compassion for all families regardless of identities. Peter was absolutely amazing with my son and daughter! He kept them entertained and they both adjusted to him pretty quickly, especially after he talked to me about what their favorite things are and was able to bond with them through Kpop Demon Hunters and video games.
