Hi! I'm Pete, a dog owner and experienced handler who genuinely enjoys getting dogs outside, active, and exploring. I own a large male rescue dog, so I understand firsthand what it's like to handle a big, strong, energetic dog-including pulling, distractions, excitement, stubborn moments, and selective hearing! I'm especially comfortable with large breeds, strong dogs, high-energy dogs, and rescues. I'm physically fit with an extensive fitness background, so longer walks, faster-paced outings, hills, and dogs that need real exercise are absolutely welcome. I also have 20+ years of professional experience in behavioral and mental health settings, which has taught me patience, reliability, situational awareness, consistency, and how to stay calm when things don't go according to plan. Most importantly, I'm a dog owner myself. I understand you're trusting me with a member of your family, and I'll treat your dog with the same attention, patience, safety, and care I expect for my own.
