About Petagay

*I have recently been invited by CCS, to be 1 of only 3 teachers to assist the district with the 4th grade math curriculum. I am a 18 year veteran teacher who takes pride in what I do. I am currently employed by Cumberland County Schools as a 4th grade teacher. I have worked with students from age 6 to 12 and have prepared students who have successfully completed national exams. I have also worked with students across various cultures. Being an international teacher myself, I have the patience and "know-how" that is needed to produce results. I believe that teaching is a work of art, therefore I spend quality time learning my students' learning styles so that lesson plans may be more meaningful and students will understand more. I also believe that every child can learn, so, if a child cannot learn the way we teach, we simply have to teach the way he/she learns.
