About Persephone

My name is Persephone, and I am outgoing, empathetic, and fun! I love working with kids because they are the future, and I believe in giving them the best chance to thrive. I'm seeking a steady, reliable job where I can bring a sense of creativity. I began working with children at 18 as a babysitter and have since spent over 3 years at a preschool in Eureka and 1 year with Inclusive Education and Community Practices, supporting children and adults with disabilities. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing chess, and exploring parks and beaches with my child. I have a strong ability to understand children's emotions and help guide their social-emotional growth, including those who have experienced trauma or abandonment. My skills include early childhood development, emotional regulation support, and creating safe, engaging environments.
