About Perla

Nurturing children and supporting families is my passion. My seven years of experience (6 babysitting +1 professional preschool setting) caring for children aged newborn to 11 have been incredibly rewarding. I hold an associates degree in applied science and am currently working towards my bachelors in sociology. I bring patience, creativity, and a friendly demeanor to every interaction. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that make learning fun. As a past preschool teacher I am skilled in lesson planning, creative activity planning, and creating engaging games that promote learning. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules. At pickup, I provide verbal updates on your child's day. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I also speak Spanish and know some Sign Language (ASL). I plan on becoming a 1st grade teacher because of the positive experiences I had babysitting and as a preK teacher! :)
