About Perla

Perla was the most unbelievable nanny — truly a gift to our family. She was the first caregiver we ever invited into our home outside of ourselves and our parents, and she joined us during an especially stressful time as we were moving cross-country. From day one, she showed us tremendous love, patience, and compassion, and made us feel completely at ease knowing our son was so loved and cared for in her hands. Perla is a confident and capable caregiver who also deeply respects each family’s unique approach. She was well-versed in age-appropriate play, developmental learning, and all things food-related (we were doing baby-led weaning at the time), and she easily adapted to our no-screen philosophy and nap routines. Simply watching her interact with our son taught us so much that we still carry with us today. And our son absolutely adored her! Thanks to Perla’s care, we were able to get everything we needed done during those few weeks — and we only wish we’d met her sooner or stayed longer so she could have remained with our family. Perla will always hold a special place in our hearts. She set the gold standard for what a caregiver can be, and any family lucky enough to have her has truly hit the jackpot.
