About Perla

Hi! I'm a bubbly, loving, and caring person with a natural connection to children. I started babysitting in high school for families in my neighborhood, which led to longer-term nannying jobs. Every year, I also serve as a counselor at my church's sleepaway camp, caring for about 14 kids at a time. These experiences taught me how to keep things fun while meeting each child's needs. I love working with kids because they inspire creativity and curiosity. Helping them feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves is incredibly rewarding. I'm looking for a role with a communicative family who values consistency and care. My goal is to build strong relationships with both the children and parents and to become a trusted part of the family's routine. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, painting, and spending time with loved ones. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, pet-friendly, and happy to help with light housekeeping and meal prep.
