About Perla

Hi there! I'm Perla -- a loving, patient, and playful nanny who truly enjoys helping children learn, grow, and feel cared for. I have over 10 years of experience working with kids of all ages and spent six wonderful years as a Montessori preschool teacher, caring for infants through5-year-olds. That experience taught me how to encourage independence, curiosity, and learning through hands-on play. I'm CPR certified and prefer caring for up to two children so I can give them my full attention and create a calm, engaging space. I love spending time outdoors, doing crafts, reading stories, and making each day fun and meaningful. I speak both English and Spanish, and I also know basic ASL, which I enjoy using to teach infants simple signs to help them communicate. My goal is to provide a warm, safe, and joyful environment where your children can thrive and feel their best every day!
