I am 59 years old and have always had at least one furry child in my life at all given times, and have had up to 6 at one time between cats and/or dogs. I am very passionate and have a very tender heart when it involves pets. They ask for nothing more than to be loved and cared for and they give so much more in return. My husband and I have taken in strays as well as ones that have been in abusive/neglectful situations (which absolutely breaks my heart, to say the very least). I have also worked with a pet rescue organization in fostering and transporting them on to their forever homes.
