Penny was a lifesaver for me. My mom had Parkinson’s disease and Lewy Body Dementia. I took her out of an Assisted Living facility at the beginning of 2021, determined to give her a better quality of life in my own home for as long as I could. Penny enabled me to do that by caring for my mother for full weekends and other times I needed her to fill in, giving me a much needed break. My mom needed full assistance in all aspects of her daily life - toileting, bathing, mobilization, medication, meal preparation and eating.I could not have done it without her assistance. She took excellent care of my mom and loved her as if she were her own family.
