About Penelope

Hello I am an experienced Emergency Technician with 3 years of ambulance first responder experience. I also have been a volunteer at the Red Cross for over 30 years. I also work as a Patient Care Tech in the ER and provide bathing, feeding, medical and personal care. I'd describe my personality as energetic and reliable . I'm looking for a job that will allow me to utilize my skills to achieve a goal for the person I will be caring for. I enjoy caring for people and providing medical and personal care. I understand the importance of personal care at my other roles and having a sense of urgency. I started caring for seniors when I became an EMT and working in a Hospital environment. In my spare time, I like to garden, cook and read a lot. My skills include cooking, following a medication list, personal hygiene, errands and making a safe comfortable environment they can thrive in. Also listening to senior is important to communicate understand them, their needs and restrictions.
